Hofstetter Elementary School

Hofstetter School hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly on November 8th this year to honor the family members and friends of our students. More than 30 veterans were able to attend! It was a wonderful opportunity to thank these men and women for their service to our country.

Thursday, December 5th, all Hofstetter 1st and 2nd grade families are invited to a family fun engagement night. This will be at Hofstetter School from 4:30 to 6:10 p.m. You will get to participate in reading and math activities. At one of the stations your child can pick out a new book and have their picture taken with Santa. We hope to see you there!

This CHS fundraiser event is geared towards elementary school aged children. Gather up your littles and come join in the fun!

Hofstetter school picture day is coming up on Wednesday, October 9. You may purchase pictures on line through Dorian's website at mydorian.com. We will be sending flyers this week in students' folders. Pictures begin at 8:00, so please have your student at school in enough time to have breakfast if necessary and be in their classroom ready to smile by 8:00 am . Thanks!

Good Morning, earlier this morning, Tuesday, September 10, we received a notice that there was a Tik Tok threat against the Chewelah School District. The Colville School District is working with local police and our school security officer to ensure our schools are safe and secure. The Colville School District would like to remind families that the last day of school, Friday, June 14th will be an early release day. On June 14th, schools will release three and a half hours earlier than normal. If your student rides an afternoon bus, the drop off time for your student will be three and a half hours earlier than normal as well. Good afternoon! This is a message from the Colville School District. In the last week we have been informed of several bear sightings throughout Colville. The Department of Wildlife and local law enforcement have been called on each occasion to ensure public safety. If your child walks to and from school, please remind them to be aware and never approach wildlife. If they see a bear they should contact Stevens County Dispatch as soon as possible. The Colville High School ASB presents: "Haunted Hawk Night"! This outdoor fundraiser for children 5th grade and younger will be this Saturday, October 28th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm behind the Colville High School. Prices for this event are: $.50 to $1.00 per station, $5.00 for either a hot dog/chips OR a mac/cheese bowl, and $1.00 per drink with hot cocoa and water being available. We hope to see you there!
